What a wonderful afternoon! Why so wonderful? Ahh, ok…it’s Friday 👾

How’s it going everyone out there? It’s Friday! Time to get a bit wasted, enjoy friends and family. (not everything has to be work)

Let us all know if you have any awesome plans for the upcoming days off…maybe we can meet up. Looking forward to some proposals ;)

Time is flying (as usual) and we’re in the last couple of days of January. The first league day is also in the past! Interesting season ahead with old and new teams giving all for the colours ;)

As many of you have asked (and missed), Ollie will be back from next week fully recharged after a deserved holidays.

PLAYERS AND NUMBERS 🎱

We don’t known where the next Haaland is playing, but we got the feeling that they could be found here playing amongst us…some scouts coming weekly, better be careful ;)

So we really want to track the goalscorers and moreover award the top goal scorer from each division. But we mean, if it is somehow reliable heheh ;)

Then we need your help.

The player numbers system is something what we would like to try again. So here is our request to all of you…we need a clean list of players and numbers to upload our system!

This time no limit in the numbers…just give us the one you will remember forever, and whenever you score, you will easily remember to tell it to the ref (all you gamblers know the importance of the numbers 👀)

Then, if there any chance that the team captain comes back to us with a list of players and their correspondent number, it will be very much appreciated from us 👍⚽

FC-HELLO FRESH ANNOUNCES ITS SHIELD

The second original football shield is here. FC-HELLOFRESH who plays at Bobo Fuego has sent us their shield!

What a wonderful design ehh!? It will be uploaded in our system ASAP.

It shows their commitment to the league, currently on top of the first division in Bobo Fuego…keep an eye on them we keep the idea of having some games among the champions of the divisions.

Get your design team to knock up a one-of-a-kind emblem/shield for your team to use in The Startup League. The team can offer in return a few beers, chocolate, or pizzas…win-win relationship ;)

FC- HELLOFRESH joins FC-FOURTWENTE as teams with their own logo…we wanna see more.

This is a football league. What we’d really love to see is a company football emblem from all participants! Again—-> SHOW US YOUR EMBLEMS!

Send them onto Ollie once their done (or you think they’re done) and he’ll pop them into our system for all to see! 👍⚽

A GENTLE REMINDER 💨

As we are back at TiB and essentially sharing the pitch and surrounding area, we need to be aware of these runners and the other patrons. So:

> WHEN YOU APPROACH THE PITCH, PLEASE BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THE RUNNERS.

> THEY CANNOT CHANGE THEIR RUNNING DIRECTION AS THEY ARE SURROUNDED BY A FORCE FIELD, WHICH KEEPS THEM WITHIN THEIR RUNNING LANE AND UNABLE TO MOVE FROM IT.

> THEY ALSO CANNOT SLOW DOWN THEIR PACE…EVEN IF THEY SEE YOU FROM OVER 100M AWAY. 🤖

> IF YOU SEE A BALL ON THE ATHLETES TRACK PLEASE HELP US TO PUT IT BACK ONTO THE FOOTBALL PITCH

MASKS AND REGULATIONS 😷

Remember that in the changing facilities, we need to wear masks. Nothing crazy, but it is all about due diligence…some complaints, but we bet people just throw us the dirty water without reason.

As Ollie says: The rules don’t change just because it’s not a bar ;)

The Startup League crew will also be checking your Covid passes and everything else we need to, to keep within the guidelines that are currently in place by the “powers that be”.
