As always, plenty going on at Playground Berlin. Of course this included stuff to do with Startup League 👍

Match day 1 last Wednesday…a couple of surprise results there. But it is only week 1..lots can happen ;)

Friday plans? A cheeky gig somewhere? Couple of drinks with friends? Night in with the Playstation and dog? All of them sound great…have fun whatever you do 👍

Q4’24 - QUEL EST LA PLAN ⚽

📅 Season has started

➗ Teams are in their divisions

📝 Before EOD today, the whole seasons KO times will be on the platform…if I pull my finger out and get on with it 😉

Due to us having an uneven number of teams, we have had to place a “friendly team” in each division. We will of course still offer you a match for this.

For the friendly team match, each team will be awarded 3 points straight off the bat…so it’s fair.

These points will not be shown until after the match day has happened.

Match day 10 lands on 11.12.24...

A bit close to the Christmas holidays, we know ✌️

So, our hand is forced to declare the winners of each division on the 11th December 2024…meaning no finals. Apologies.

There is simply not enough weeks in the year to enable us to do so.

We did try to sort it out so we could do so, but simply wasn’t possible.

However, there will be matches available for you on 18.12.24. Startup League crew will still be here for that date 🤝

This does tend to be a common occurrence during the Q4 seasons of Startup League and we simply manage the best we can.

That is all for now. Hopefully it makes sense. If not, please ask your captains for clarification and they can message in the WhatsApp groups that we have with all teams.

The Beach Volleyball season(s) of Startup League WILL continue during Q4’24 + Q1’25..wow-wow-wee-wow 🥳

We have sourced a location not far from Sisyphus, so we’ll even consider holding Startup League matches there on a Sunday afternoon ready for you all to stumble out of the club and onto the sand…

Not really, but that would be quite a sight 🫠

Currently, we are installing some “under sand heating” in a new location ready for a “soft start” 2nd week of November 😀

How about that? Super cool really, isn’t it? 🥳

Both myself and Mr.Peanut will be in touch closer to the time to get you all back on the nice warm sand, playing matches at Startup League 👍
