Week 8 of the Spring Season done and dusted here at The Startup League and most turned up on time (as nearly always) ready for their favourite time of the week…or from what we’ve been told by some 😉

Some noticeable changes this week…not only in the feedback we have received, but in the general atmosphere surround this game that we all know and love.

Hopefully no more sudden “exits” of teams, such as “Big Old Boris J” yesterday…

CHANGES IN REFEREES AND POST MATCH COMMENTS 👍

As you hopefully read last week, there were some changes made to ensure everyone has an even better time than they always do…and that was how the referees (and you lovely lot) approach the game and of course, each other 🤝

2 of the main points were:

> Only captains from each team can approach the referee regarding decisions made.

> Captains are to introduce themselves to each other before the match officially begins.

Feedback after the matches was POSITIVE 100%. Not only from the players themselves, but also the referees…which we like here at The Startup League because they are also human 😀

So…a round of applause for everyone involved in making these changes noticeably different 👏

Let’s all keep this momentum of change going not only through this season, but for all future seasons of The Startup League that you join us for :)
