There it is…the finals at Bobo. And what a night it was for those that made the cut!

I’m sure you will all help us congratulate FC-ONEFOOTBALL and FC-APPLIFT in lifting the 1st Division and 2nd Division trophies, respectively.

Most of The Startup League staff were not there to witness this momentous occasion because we have been working hard organising the future of The Startup League.

The Easter weekend has been and gone, but the staff here didn’t really see much of it. Yes, we know…the smallest violin in the world playing just for us 😉🎻

We didn’t see any of it or enjoy much of that glorious weekend because we have been looking at new locations for our matches 😀

This will come as a little bit of a shock to some of you…others, not so much.

BRIEF DETAILS OF WHY THERE ARE NO MATCHES AT TiB 😳

Why, we’re all hearing you say to yourselves!? 🤷‍♂️

Well…the short of it is that (as we’re sure you can all imagine by now), dealing with Berlin Vereine is a nightmare. There are too many rules and regulations that are in place when actually playing at these venues. We won’t bore you with the in-depth details 😉

What’s the plan then?

> WELL…IN PREPARATION FOR THIS TURN OF EVENTS, WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON SECURING A NEW LOCATION. WHICH IS OURS TO DO WITH WHAT WE WANT 😀

> DETAILS OF THIS NEW VENUE WILL BE RELEASED NEXT THURSDAY. A PROMOTIONAL VIDEO IS BEING FILMED OVER THE NEXT WEEK TO SHOWCASE WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED 👀

GOODBYE BOBO FUEGO - FINAL MATCHES THERE 🥺

The exciting six-month-long winter league division-1 and division 2 indoors comes to an end with an amazing playoffs.

After the thrilling semifinals Y42, Applift, Onefootball and Solarisbank booked their seat in finals in their respective divisions.

Applift were crowned winners of the Winter League Division-2 after their electrifying comeback in the finals against Y42. The final score at full time was Y42 (7) - (9) Applift. Congratulations to both the teams for tremendous efforts throughout the season.

The most dramatic season The Startup League has ever had was the Division-1 at Bobo with very high intensity matches every week. The breathtaking finals of division one was played between Solarisbank and Onefootball…this was one of the highest intensity matches at Bobo - says Mr.Happy.

In the end Onefootball grabbed the title defeating Solarisbank. The final score was Onefootball (10) - (6) Solarisbank.

Special appreciation to Solarisbank and Getyourguide for their undefeated seasons until the playoffs.

GOTW 🌶️🔥

This week, GOTW was a pretty one sided affair…and to be fair, we’re not surprised 😮

With 77% (45 votes) of the total votes on our Instagram story, it was a no-brainer 😵‍💫

WHAT A STRIKE!

FC-ONEFOOTBALL’s team captain Eduardo Beas stole the ball at the half way line, then beat off 2 of the opposition, to then guide a pass to Tomas Martinez Ardanaz.

The result - a strike into the boundary which then found its way into the bottom left of the goal. Structured and precise with a sprinkle of finesse 👍⚽

For sure not something that can be accomplished in any matches outdoors though ;)
