A bit of a cheeky intro meme to this weeks newsletter…a reference to one of our new teams ;)

And on that note…welcome one and all! What a glorious week it has been…a lovely bit of sunshine was upon us again last weekend and early this week.

Yes…it dipped a little bit by mid-week, but do we mind? NO! Because we are all still able to play football! Happy days 🙂

A fair few of you know what’s going on and where to be next Wednesday…but an extremely large amount of you do not. So…what follows are details of what you need to know:

> PLEASE BE ON TIME. THE WINTER WAS FAIRLY QUIET, BUT WE CANNOT HAVE MATCHES STARTING LATE.

> MATCH TIMES - Between the times of 1845 - 2100. You can see your match times on the PLAYER PORTAL FEATURE (CLICK THAT TO VIEW THE TIMES)

> If you have not received your team code to sign in, please speak to your captain, or…send us an email :)

**ALSO FOR EVERYONES ATTENTION**

BECAUSE THERE ARE NEW TEAMS JOINING US (AND WE LOVE EVERYONE SO MUCH), THERE WILL BE DISCOUNTED BEERS AT THE BAR @ TiB.

THERE IS ALSO (IF THE WEATHER PERMITS IT) THAT A BBQ WILL BE FIRED UP AND READY FOR YOU ALL.

NOT ONLY THAT…BUT THERE ARE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHES THAT EVENING, SO STICK AROUND, HAVE A FEW BEERS, A WEE BIT OF FOOD AND STICK AROUND TO WATCH THE GAMES.

GOAL OF THE WEEK ⚽

This was a close one this week…

The stats rolled in early Thursday evening and the winner was basically declared.

BUT THEN….no. After a series of Instagram stories Friday morning from Dat (Y42) in came a tsunami of votes for FC-Y42 and the goal scorer Pietro Picozzi. A spectacular display of footwork…just shows you what the platform can do for you and your team 😉

4-5 players surrounding (the goal scorer) and he managed to navigate his way through them all and strike one into the bottom left corner…a mighty fine effort 👍⚽

Your job is easy…score some amazing goals and we take it from there. The Startup League Board (in their infinite wisdom) chooses the 3 best goals of the day. Then we put them on our Instagram stories for 24 hrs (from 14:00 Thursdays and until 14:00 hrs Fridays), and the goal with the most votes wins…easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
