What a wonderful afternoon! Makes it a little better that it’s Friday eh!?

What’s everyone up to tonight? Friends, family…partner in crime in the bars? We’re sure there are a few of you doing that (those that aren’t doing dry January anyway).

It will probably a quiet one for all of The Startup League crew this weekend…long week and batteries need recharging. Healthy body, healthy mind etc.

Although, it could all change with a taste of 17:00 (probably 16:30)…but who knows.

SOMETHING FOR YOUR DESIGN TEAM 🤓

We all have a lot of fun on the pitch and here we all are wanting to see you have a bit more fun off the pitch…we ask too much, we know ;)

We also love seeing your company logos floating around on our website…but what we’d really love to see, is a company football emblem. SHOW US YOUR EMBLEMS!

By all means, your company logo should be included in your emblem if you do so wish…I’m sure your CEO’s would be in favour of it ;)

Get your design team to knock up a one of a kind emblem/shield for your team to use in The Startup League. FC-FOURTWENTE are currently the only team with their own logo…we wanna see more.

Send them onto Ollie once their done (or you think they’re done) and he’ll pop them into our system for all to see! 👍⚽

DIVISIONS AND SCHEDULE ➗

Level day 2…done an dusted! Some good matches this week and the scorelines show it! Fine effort from all involved :)

The schedule for next week will be available for all to see by EOD…keep your eyes peeled.

There will be 3 divisions from next week and all you lovely teams will be split between them:

> COMATCH DIVISION - 6 TEAMS.

> DIVISION 2 - 6 TEAMS

> DIVISION 3 - 8 TEAMS. THIS MAY BE SPLIT INTO ANOTHER DIVISION. WAITING ON A FEW POSSIBLE LATE COMERS ;)

All teams will play each other once…easy peasy. As mentioned above, the schedule will be available by EOD.

A GENTLE REMINDER 💨

As we are back at TiB and essentially sharing the pitch and surrounding area, we need to be aware of these runners and the other patrons. So:

> WHEN YOU APPROACH THE PITCH, PLEASE BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THE RUNNERS.

> THEY CANNOT CHANGE THEIR RUNNING DIRECTION AS THEY ARE SURROUNDED BY A FORCE FIELD, WHICH KEEPS THEM WITHIN THEIR RUNNING LANE AND UNABLE TO MOVE FROM IT.

> THEY ALSO CANNOT SLOW DOWN THEIR PACE…EVEN IF THEY SEE YOU FROM OVER 100M AWAY. 🤖

MASKS AND REGULATIONS 😷

We had a few complaints from other users of the changing facilities this week, regarding the WEARING OF MASKS in those facilities. Please do wear your masks while inside. The rules don’t change just because it’s not a bar ;)

From next week, The Startup League crew will also be checking your Covid passes and everything else we need to, to keep within the guidelines that are currently in place by the “powers that be”.
