December 10th is the day today (in case you forgot) and Christmas is just around the corner!

It is also a Friday!! By now, you all know how much we love Friday’s ;)

Off to a club this weekend? Well, don’t bother taking your dancing shoes…take some nice comfy slippers instead, cause that’s all you’ll need 😉

Looks like all of us up at TiB missed the snow by a couple of hours…nice. I’m sure all you hardened football veterans would have been fine with a little sprinkle of snow though. It is Christmas after all 🎅🎁

PLAY FOOTBALL INSIDE AT OSZ 👍⚽

Your eyes are not playing games with you…we can play football inside!

We can all play football, on Saturdays and Sundays, inside at OSZ between the months of January-April.

Last Wednesday in particular, we were asked by many a person if inside football was possible with The Startup League. The answer is yes…it is possible.

Now…this will NOT be in a league format. We cannot organise league games there. No points, no refs etc.

But, a fantastic opportunity for you to get your team together, get some practice in and be fighting fit for when the matches do happen.

IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND THESE WEEKEND TRAINING DAYS, YOU AND YOUR TEAM WILL HAVE TO BE PART OF THE Startup League. IF NOT, ENTRY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

If you have not heard anything from your captain about joining us in early 2022, either get hold of them or even get hold of Ollie @ ollie@startupleague.berlin so he can assist you in getting your through those football pearly gates.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN - DEADLINE ⏱️

You guessed it…another link in the title! We just like giving you some tunes for your Fridays now!

As we approach 2022, we need to not only organise ourselves…but also you. The Startup League enthusiasts.

Therefore, we have to introduce a deadline for the paperwork returned to Ollie for all those that wish to join us for early 2022. This will be the 31st December 2021. That is one week before the 1st match day of Wednesday 5.1.22.

Ollie will be in touch over the next week to see where each team is at in terms of commitment for 2022.

Please be aware, that this will affect your teams ability to use OSZ during the months stated previously.

If you wish to use the facilities at OSZ, but not join The Startup League, then we may be able to work something out for you. Just let us know 👍

We said it earlier and may say it again in a later newsletter (depending on if we write one before the 24th).

Merry Christmas from all of us at The Startup League.

The last 23 weeks of match days has been an absolute pleasure to organise. And to meet all of you has been even better…some of you anyway ;)

Jokes aside we really do appreciate you all coming along, having a kickaround and participating in Berlin’s biggest football league. It’s been great.

There has been laughter, smiles, a little bit of tears…not many though. All of it has been great.

So with that, Merry Christmas and hopefully we see you all in the new year.
