Usual thing from us. Link to an 80’s glove song in the title…Christmas themed this time!🎅

How’s it going everyone!? It’s Friday! The Christmas break is almost upon us! Most of us will be leaving the office behind here in Berlin🐻 and heading off to either see friends or family in another place in the world! Happy days…

There is more good news. OSZ (details of which are further down) is available for you all to play in. All Saturday and Sunday!! Until April!! Yes…really! Just turn up and ask for a ball…one of us will be there for you :)

But fear not! We will be back in January with a whole new season ready for you all to meet, greet and compete in!

Ollie will be in touch personally with your captains next week (before he goes away himself) to discuss your teams future in The Startup League. If you are interested and “not a captain”, please feel free to give them a gentle nudge to remind them of how much fun you have every Wednesday with us! Nächste Woche. Was ist los?🤷‍♂️

So…we’re coming into the final week of the current season of The Startup League. Week 15.

It’s been great! All the crew here at The Startup League have been fully committed to providing the best environment and fun filled football event on a weekly basis. You have all been so encouraging through the biggest season that The Startup League has ever had…so thank you one and all. It means a lot as always👍⚽

Next week we will be finishing up the season with a little taste (of Glühwein) of what to expect next year. As you may have guessed, we will have Glühwein ready and waiting for you once you finish your matches!

Hot and steamy…yum yum💦🔥

We will also have trophies and medals for you all…trophies for the winning teams anyway ;)

So we hope that you will all come along and join in with the festivities on Wednesday.🏆🥇

TRAINING AT OSZ⚽

We’ve had questions about this recently…so we shall address these questions here🧐

We are fortunate enough to have secured OSZ as a training venue for the weekends for the next few months. We would love for our teams to utilise this opportunity and join us on the weekends to make use of these facilities.

> No set times. You let us know when you want to turn up and we shall organise. Bring your colleagues for a kickaround!⌚

> Startup League staff available at the venue to potentially organise friendlies between those lucky enough to join us. Or, if there are other teams there, have a chat and see if you can play together. Everyone is lovely, so shouldn’t be a problem🙂

> First come first serve basis💦. Requests to join will have to be made before match day of the week your team wishes to join.⌛

MY SHARONA (CORONA)

**LINK TO ANOTHER GREAT TUNE IN THE TITLE**

Truth is…we still don’t know what’s going on with the rules and regulations in regards to Covid checks put in place by the powers that be. (I don’t think they know either-Ollie)

However, to stay ahead of the game, we are implementing checks with both the CovCheck App and Luca app.

At this point in time, we’re all unfortunately used to this scenario so we feel it’s not really to much of a headache to deal with.

Basically when the time comes and we’re told that these rules are to be “enforced” in some way, we already have the systems in place to organise it without any hiccups. Happy days :)
