We started a few weeks ago with 80’s classic song title themed newsletters and have now revisited the theme…eyes on the titles from now on!

How we all doing!? 100% certain that everyone is good!! Because…yep, it’s Friday!! Always brings us pleasure writing the word 🍻

THE NEXT MATCH DAYS…

We have had you all asking us❓on a weekly basis what the plan is for the final weeks of this season…and we had an answer 😀. It apparently wasn’t the clearest of answers for some of you (which is more than fair), but it was an answer at least 👍

Everything was planned, ready to go and fit for public consumption…WAS planned. This was a “finals system”.

We have encountered a problem. With some of the teams that have dropped out of the current season, it means that we cannot organise the final matches as we had planned…sorry 😕

We will continue in a league format, organising the matches as they have previously been for the rest of the season. Matches for next week are already uploaded

So, what we have now is as follows:

> After Last Wednesday’s match, if you placed 1st in the table…you have won your division! Nice one! You will move up to the next division for next season.

> If you placed last…down a division you go.

> At the end of the season (week 15 - 08.12.21) whoever places 2nd in their division, will also go up a division.

> 2nd to last…also go down a division.

We WILL be organising a “Champions League” between the winning teams from Bobo Fuego and this Summer season. Dates will be released in the near future. It will also be a 1st for The Startup League…stay tuned 📺

Below, are the winners of their relative divisions! I hope you will all join us in congratulating them for what must be their most impressive success of their year ;)

A FEW RULES FOR TEMPELHOF…

We have had complaints from not only the officials from TiB, but also the other venue users…some of you Startup League enthusiasts are still using the out of bounds as “relief facilities”. Naughty naughty…

We’re all getting better at watching out for the runners while crossing to the pitch. Even if they do set up their complex camera with recording facilities at the entrance to the pitch…crazy 🤨

But using the pitch as a toilet is not allowed. If any of the staff spot any of you do that, an automatic penalty of 20 push-ups on the spot and a round of beers for The Startup League crew, will be imposed on the offending member ;)

Seriously though…don’t do it.

UPCOMING ‘22 WINTER SEASON…

We are all very aware that this season is drawing to a close…and what a season it has been. Loads of positive comments and responses every week. Makes us all very happy 😊

What will be happening is that we continue to play outside at Tempelhof. Bring the Glühwein ;)

Ollie will be in touch with the team captains over next week to sort this out. We’re looking forward to getting another season of The Startup League going!!
