ALWAYS A PLEASURE, NEVER A CHORE :)
That’s right…this week you have to read my personal opinion in regards to The Startup League. Nothing but happy memories from me. Everyone that I meet is lovely, attending for a purpose and willing to get stuck into some awesome 40 minutes of football every week. Happy days!
I would like to thank everyone involved in the processes to make this league work and happen. Including all you lovely lot…The Startup League Enthusiasts. If you weren’t there to actually play the game, then there would be no league…so thank you.
A more internally driven thank you has to be given to Lukas. Where-as I am essentially the face of the business in dealing with you lot (The Lovely Startup League Enthusiasts) he has the unfortunate task of dealing with the many different vereins, sorting out the venues and dealing with the bureaucracy associated with such organisations. If it wasn’t for him, we would not have a league. No way I could ever do what he does ;)
I am back in England next week for a wedding, so please say thank you to Lukas when you see him next week at Tempelhof for being able to participate in the league and sorting out the venues. It has been a tough few months for us, but we weathered the storm and are very happy about it :)

DETAILS OF THE NEW VENUE
As we are at a new venue, we should probably tell you a little about it:
> There are changing rooms, yes. Showers are still closed due to Covid…so bring some deodorant ;)
> For the next week, we are still playing on grass. The move to the stadium (artificial turf) will be made on the 27th October….which is of course a Wednesday :)
> If you are considering buying new shoes for when we do move, please ensure that they have no studs or cleats.

ATTENDANCE…
It’s that time of the newsletter again…attendance.
Just to really hit it home, what is expected from teams is below:
> Attendance from each team member is to be checked via the dashboard feature before 19:00uhr latest on the Tuesday before the matches are scheduled. This ensures we can run the matches smoothly…
> Captains…it is your role to oversee that these checks are made please and thank you :)
> IF, you and your team have issues with the time slot allocated for your match, we will always do our best to sort something out…but no promises can be made. TIA for your understanding.
FAIRLY NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT ;)

We had a pretty successful start to our Instagram campaign. After last weeks introduction to it, we generated roughly 30% more followers within 2 hours…not bad, not bad :)
This does mean however, that about 950+ of you who receive this weekly newsletter, are not following us…slap on the back of the hand for you!
We are updating the platform with a mixture of team photos, Startup League memes and anything else that we find funny :)
