NEW VENUE!!

Yes…I’m sure you all know by now that we have a new venue for The Summer League! Tempelhofer Feld. We have been screaming it from the rooftop of our office in Kreuzberg ever since last week when it was confirmed. Sorry to say it again…but we’re quite excited. We can only hope you are too :)

> Please arrive earlier than usual, so you and your team can discover the location.

> The pitch is Astroturf (artificial grass) and outdoors. So no studs or cleats please and thank you.

> Matches are currently at the same time slots as previous weeks.

ATTENDANCE AND REFEREES

We’re sorry to sound like a broken record, but it does need to be said again…ATTENDANCE IS KEY. For us to effectively run the league, teams must show.

> If one team cancels, we have to source another team for the original opposition.

> Given enough notice time, this isn’t really an issue…logistically anyway ;)

> Nearly all teams have joined purely to play “The Beautiful Game” and we hate letting them down when a match cannot be found for them…even a friendly.

Referees…yes, we are fully aware of the referee situation that we face. Pierre, for example…is an exception. If we could have 10 of him, we would 100%. The simple fact is, referees are just like indoor football venues. Hard to find.

We thank you in advance for your patience while we asses the situation and make the necessary changes.
