The Summer League entered its 4th week. We must say, it was a tough week. Here’s the most important facts for you:

we continue to play at Schöneweide throughout August on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Here we are offering a bar & music. We can’t do that at Poststadion. So that’s an upside👌🏽 And the first drink is on us!

The Summer League games in August, at Schöneweide, are played on Thursdays

The Winter League games in August, at Schöneweide, are played on Wednesday

we will go back to Poststadion in September. (More info about this further down)

All games played last week were friendly games! They don’t affect your league position. If you didn’t come, it doesn’t matter. But we’d love to see you there this week ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH POSTSTADION AND BAK?

We woke up on Tuesday morning, full of hope for a fantastic week ahead. At 16.00 Uhr all was in chaos…

… so, why is that?

We, as a Verein, a German Football non profit, depend on the Berlin Sports Association to make the Poststadion venue available for all of us. To make it happen, we were working through BAK. It’s complicated.

We are sorry that not everything ran smoothly, as it has worked in the past. What we now have to do is to deal with the Berlin Sportamt to run the league directly through our Verein.

This way we won’t rely on the BAK in future. So they can not let us down again. That's good news : ) ⚽️

With the sudden change of events, we had to think quick...and think quick we did. A location was found and all our energy was put into making this week's matches actually happen. We also wanted to make these next weeks even more special. So…we got hold of some people and arranged for a bar to be on site. A welcomed addition from what we could tell ;)

And did we mention that the first drink was on us?

CELEBRATION OF THE WEEK

Remember, there is a cameraman on site every week to potentially capture the magical moments on the field. We will of course feature any great celebrations that we do capture. (Please keep them clean though, yeah?)

FOOTBALL FACT OF THE WEEK
