NO Startup League MATCH DAY NEXT WEEK 1.5.24 #sadface

It is 1st of May, which means many of you will be doing other things…what you do, is of course entirely up to you 😉

Technically, it was meant to be match day 2 for the ⚽ footballers - this match will now happen after week 10…just how the system our end works 😉

For you 🏐 Beach Volleyball players, the season will begin 22.5.24. We’ve all seen the weather recently. Up and down, all over the place so we’d prefer to be comfortable with the way it’s going before committing to season start.

RAKE THE COURTS - 🏐 TEAMS

Used this meme once before but why not twice, oder? 😀

Startup League are led to believe that it is common courtesy that whomever may play Beach Volleyball (regardless of where the sport is played) then rakes the courts after their match has finished…

Therefore, Startup League kindly ask you that you rake the courts after your matches have finished so the next group of lovely people who are destined to use the courts can…all nice and tidy 😊

JERSEYS - SURE 😀

This again…jerseys :)

Teams must have matching jerseys to play in when participating in Startup League matches…bitte :)

T-shirts are also fine. No worries there.

Look at how lovely all these teams above look…just lovely 🙂

We’ll start speaking to captains on the pitches soon, so if you wish to avoid talking (or seeing any of Startup League staff) you know what to do ;)

That’s right…order them or dig out those t-shirts from the dreaded “HR Cupboard” and we’ll see you there, all uniformed up and ready to go 👍

DEVELOPMENTS AT Playground Berlin ▶️

We are soon to have a 7 Vs 7 ⚽ pitch…a modular one at that 👍

Pitches 5, 6 and 7 will become an Optimus Prime type deal and transform to be able to hold 7 Vs 7 matches…“Robots In Disguise” 🤖

The WC facilities are still in planning…we’ll get there one day. For now, the Verein building has all your needs for that particular type of thing :)
