2nd week done at Playground Berlin’s ▶️ Astroturf pitches…and another successful one for sure 👍

Especially (may we add) with the addition of the “SoRare Manager - Score A Goal For SoRare” challenge. We witnessed many of you succeed (and also a few failures) in getting that ball through the pesky hole.

Andy (the groundskeeper at Playground Berlin ▶️) got 3 in a row. Top left, bottom right, then back up to the top left…so if anyone needs a ringer for a match day, you know where to look 😉

Next week, they will be back for more of this…as they have a little (or not so little) prize to give away. Read on for more on that 😀

As you all had most definitely noticed, we had an amazing goal-shooting contest on Wednesday ⚽

Everyone had the opportunity to win 2x tickets for Hertha BSC vs. Schalke 04 and join the Sorare Manager & Startup League crew to the upcoming match in the Olympiastadion.

Yes...you will get to spend "intimate time" with us 😉

Congrats to everyone who scored a goal and is participating in the raffle - best of luck to you. The winner will be announced this upcoming Wednesday, so be sure to be there or be rectangle 😀

FRAN THE MAN MOVES ON - AND A MESSAGE FOR THE CAPTAINS 👑

Yes…it has come to that time, where one of our beloved staff members is moving onto other paths in life :(

Francisco (Aka Fran The Man) has decided that all the fun that he has had at Startup League, is enough for now…pursuing something else of his choosing.

We can all only wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do and also thank him for everything he has done in terms of making Startup League a better place not only to work, but for Startup League Enthusiasts to be a part of…so cheers Francisco 👍🍻

THIS DOES MEAN THERE WILL BE CHANGES IN WHO WORKS WHERE…

Faris (Aka Mr Happy) will be looking after the Beachvolleyball season and all those who attend those matches…yes he will be missed at Playground Berlin ▶️, but he will also do a sterling job at BeachMitte we’re sure.

Ollie will now be looking after the checking of attendance for Wednesday match days, so there will be changes:

> ATTENDANCE CHECKS WILL BE MADE AT THE SAME TIME ON TUESDAY, 1430 WITH AN HOUR AND A HALF TO CONFIRM.

> LAST CALL FOR TEAMS TO CONFIRM WILL BE 1700 TUESDAY.

> OLLIE WILL BE CONTACTING ALL THE CAPTAINS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS, BECAUSE IF ATTENDANCE IS NOT CONFIRMED…THEN THE MATCHES WILL NOT HAPPEN.

So please, with a cherry on top…check your attendance before this deadline ✌️🍒
