What a great match day that was…oder?

Sun was out, minimal delays to matches…alles gut in dem kiez 😀

Plenty more developments going on with the Astroturf pitches. Goals were placed on the turf and we believe we even saw a couple of people kicking a ball around on there. Fine effort 👍⚽

BeachVolleyball was on going as well and players were still enjoying that lovely sport well after 2100…another fine effort from you all 👍🏐

Another fine Wednesday evening at the Startup League 👍⚽🏐

BEACHVOLLEYBALL - WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH PLAYING AND THE COLDER MONTHS 🤔

As always, we are getting questions from the lovely BeachVolleyball crew and we are more than happy to answer those questions 😀

There is some concern from some of you about where we will continue to play over the next months. But fear not! We have the answers regarding this! 👍

In short, this is what’s going on:

> We will be staying (hence the title track) alive and kicking at Playground Berlin ▶️.

> We will be installing a roof, with lighting above the BeachVolleyball courts so we can continue to play there. This will be installed from the 2nd week of October 💪

> TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN, WE NEED 10 TEAMS SO WE CAN BUILD THIS WONDERFUL ROOF 🏠

We wish to keep all members of the Startup League together, in one place…maintaining the atmosphere that we created at Playground Berlin ▶️ over the last 3 months. Because it has been absolutely amazing…and you are all an integral part of it 👍⚽🏐

FOOTBALL - THE FINAL COUNTDOWN UNTIL PLAYING ON THE NEW TURF ⚽

We are “oh so close” to getting ready to play on Berlin’s 1st up-cycled Astroturf football pitches!

Have you all got your new boots, laced and ready to go? We really do hope so 😀

This is such a major step in the right direction for not only the Startup League, but for you fellow football enthusiast…we are about as close to becoming independent from the Verein as is possible.

There was talk of us being able to play there next week but I (Ollie) will give the realistic expectation of within 3 weeks. Always the realist 😉
