The Wochenende is here at last! Looks like a perfect weekend for sitting at home, sticking on some Netflix…and chill 😉

BeachVolleyball crew - You may be wondering why you’re seeing pictures of football.

Why is that? We can “literally” see your mouths say those words 💬

We have decided to combine both into one, amazingly, (well written if we do say so ourselves😉) newsletter! This is so we can detail elements regarding Playground Berlin ▶️ and what is happening there.

PREPARATION FOR BEING INDEPENDENT FROM OTHER VEREINE 💪

The Startup League is so close to being 100% independent from any other Berlin Vereine, bringing us all closer to not only the dream, but the reality of being Berlin’s finest sporting venue.

The ONLY place in this wonderful city, where you can play both football and BeachVolleyball at the same venue…

There is more to come too. Keep your eyes open every time you come to Playground Berlin ▶️ to see the developments being made. You could all be surprised with what’s coming next.

FOOTBALL TEAMS - The Astroturf is constantly getting laid (we could only wish that for everyone🙂) and we’re looking at having the 1st matches played on it within a month. We will randomly select a few teams to play a friendly on them for feedback from you all.

BEACHVOLLEYBALL TEAMS - There are plans being made to make minor adjustments to the courts in the next few weeks. What adjustments? You’re just going to have to wait to find out ;)

These changes on the BeachVolleyball courts may not be noticeable soon, as we have to really focus on the Astroturf to make the dream become a reality of becoming a fully independent, Veriene in our own rights…The Startup League e.V 👌

A NEW WALL FOR BERLIN - CLIMBING WALL 🪜

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, oh yes…you have read that title correctly 😀

The Startup League is building Berlin’s longest rock climbing (bouldering) wall 🥳🥳

The image above has obviously been snapped up from Google. But it will look just as amazing and cool and wonderful and, and, and, and…dunno. Just think of another adjective to describe just how amazing it’ll be 🔥

When? You will just have to keep turning up at Playground Berlin ▶️ to see what’s going on and how we’re progressing won’t you now 😉

Keep your eyes peeled and if you have any questions, we probably won’t be able to answer them just yet, so hold onto your thoughts for the time being 😀

A QUICK IDEA FOR THE BEACHVOLLEYBALL TEAMS 💡

Those (believe it or not) are BeachVolleyball socks…yes, BeachVolleyball socks. We are suggesting that you maybe consider investing in some to save your little toes from getting a touch chilly 🥶

It’s the1st time I (Ollie) have heard of such a thing, but you learn something new everyday don’t you now? 😀

A simple Google search will point you in the right direction of a supplier. But we don’t have to tell you lot that, do we…being the keyboard warriors that you are 😉
