What a day Wednesday was! I (Ollie) thinks it was gen-u-in-ely one of his favourite match days ever…haven’t spoken to the rest of the crew, but I’m sure they feel the same 👍🤝

The bar was in full swing, the matches were played on time, BeachVolleyball was looking awesome, attendance was great…all of it was great :)

As usual, you all came grinning ear to ear ready to rock and roll while playing “The Beautiful Game” at The Startup League…nice one 👌

FINALS AND THE DELAYING OF THEM (FOR GOOD REASON) 👍

⭐FINALS HAVE BEEN DELAYED UNTIL THE 24TH AUGUST FOR MOST OF THE DIVISIONS⭐

You have read that correctly…and we will explain ourselves fully below.

Divisions 2, 8 and 11 WILL play their semi finals next week, 10.8.22.

Now, we delayed the others because we have established that so many of you are away on your holidays over the wonderful month of August…we can’t have you missing such an important match now can we? ;)

We will still schedule matches for everyone, so you’ll still get your games…no worries there.

If you have questions, you all for sure know what to do now. Email, WhatsApp or (ideally) homing pigeon for your questions 🕊️

NEW REFEREE PLATFORM 🎉

Not something particularly that you may care about…but we do :)

The referees now have a new mobile platform that they can use for match days.

This application records the goal scorers and the final scores…obviously ;)

The scores will be uploaded in real time, so you can get off the pitch, whip your phone out and check where you and your team stand in the tables…happy days 🙂

However, if you find that the score has been uploaded incorrectly…you can always annoy us via WhatsApp as per usual and we will change the score (if declared correct) manually 😉
