Week 10, done and dusted…for most anyway. And what a day it was ☀️😎

To be honest, I’m surprised that The Startup League Crew managed to put it all together in that heat…but we did and matches continued as always 💪

Thank you to all those who came. Was a great evening (as usual) and we all had fun.

Next week, we will start semi finals for all divisions except:

> SoRare Manager 1st Division 🥇

> Division 2 2️⃣

> Division 8 🎱

> Division 11 🕚

Your matches will be available to view on the platform from now.

Let’s start the weekend right…finish up whatever you have to do for the working week and get ready for those wonderful 2 days off. We will be for sure 😉

ATTENDANCE (AGAIN 😉) AND THE CHANGES THAT WERE MADE - ASSESSMENT 🧰

What you see above, is a Tuesday afternoon (around 1700) schedule…

Green - confirmed attendance 🟢

Purple - haven’t confirmed attendance 🟣

It’s a lot of chasing teams for answers to be honest.

However…the changes that were made in terms of cancelling teams were noticeable. Last minute check were done manually Tuesday evening at 1900, with matches then being canceled at 1930.

These changes heavily influenced our Wednesday “setting up day”, where we could concentrate on getting the pitches ready and ready to greet you wonderful Startup League Enthusiasts 👍⚽

So…in short, it was a better week in terms of attendance checks. But in an ideal world, we won’t have to do the manual checks in the future ;)

Thank you for adapting to these changes firstly…appreciated 🤝

We look forward to the future where 1900 attendance is the norm…cheers 🍻

NEXT SEASON - DATES, INFO AND THE SCHEDULE 🧮

One season is ending…and another is soon to begin.

Plenty of questions asked recently, so we now feel it is the time to reveal the schedule for the Summer/Autumn season of The Startup League 🥳😀

> Summer/Autumn Season will begin on September 7th with matches played every Wednesday as always.

> There will be divisions of 6 teams.

> These teams will play each other twice. So 10 official match days in total.

> Weeks 11 + 12 (November 16th and 23rd) will be the same as this season also. Semi finals and finals.

> The final week of November and the beginning of December, we will run a Champions League kind of affair, placing teams from each division against each other.

As many of our members are away in late August, we will entertain those who are here with a similar kind of league as described above. So therefore, no need for "level days" ;)
